Are you anxious and intelligent at the same time? You might be tiring yourself out

anxious

Ignorance is bliss, they say. Bliss is also stress free.

Stress leads to problems like low immunity, difficulty in breathing, digestion problems and disturbed metabolic syndrome.

So being ignorant is actually a good way to stay healthy. Can we selectively be ignorant about things that stress you out? Let’s find out.

Intelligent people v/s normal people

Intelligent people become innovators, inventors, creators and entrepreneurs. They are the movers and shakers of the world.

Normal people keep things simple and follow a mundane routine. They don’t like surprises nor they generate any. For them, life goes like clockwork, in ignorance and bliss.

Anxiety and feeling anxious – what is the difference

Anxiety is a disorder. It is a mind condition which needs medical care and treatment. Feeling anxious about someone or something is perfectly normal. Only that you should not do it in excess.

But here is where normal people score over intelligent ones. They never worry about anything. What is there to worry in a mundane routine which works on the tick of a clock. Even if something doesn’t go their way, they simply look for other options.

However take for example an inventor who is always worried about finishing the invention. He or she will now have something to worry about the whole day and a good part of the night.

Till the time things are moving the right direction, you are happy and stress free. But if anxiousness coverts into anxiety, it is going to affect intelligent people much more than normal.

Pushing the limits

People with brilliant minds are not only hard working, but they put in tons of effort into any activity. They think, plan, define and then put their plan in action, usually with positive results. But what does this all lead to. Little or no #metime to take rest.

Pushing limits without much rest to the body and mind leads to exhaustion.

How to find out if you are tired

Lying on the bed and not feeling like getting up. Scrolling reels or surfing the social media aimlessly. These are probably the most common signs of being tired. If you are doing these early in the morning, means that you did not have sufficient sleep at night.

If you are keeping busy the whole day with just a few moments for yourself while having a meal or at bed time means that eventually exhaustion will set in.

Remedy

If you have already gotten into a busy routine, you won’t have time to take a break.

Begin with sleeping early. That itself is going to be a challenge because you cannot just lay on the bed hoping for sleep to catch up. For that the best option is to go for a walk before going to bed. Also you need to go for an early dinner.

Other approach has to be getting up early and going for a walk at sunrise. Allow the rays of the sun to hit your skin so that it starts the body clock for the day.

If you are anxious you need to do these two things

  • Start replacing junk food with nutritious food.
  • Think about eliminating a few tasks and/or people from your life.
